At Midcoast Midwifery we believe that birth is a sacred and unique experience for each woman, baby, and family. Striving to honor this uniqueness and build strong client relationships, we provide individualized Midwifery care through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

As practitioners, we are deeply invested in the preservation of Midwives and homebirth, acknowledging the important roles they have played throughout time. Through practicing the traditional art of Midwifery we hope to increase knowledge and respect for reproductive processes and help foster strong and healthy women, families and communities.

The Midwives:

Rebecca Koller, CPM

Rebecca has been certified by the North American Registry of Midwives as a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) since 2008. She attended and graduated from Birthwise Midwifery School. During her training she apprenticed in a busy midwifery practice in Florida and attended births at home and in a freestanding birth center. She traveled to Bali at the end of her apprenticeship and volunteered at a rural, nonprofit birth center. She opened Midcoast Midwifery in 2010 with JennaSchmitz.

Rebecca is excited about providing midwifery care to women and their families and supporting babies, as gently as possible, through their growth and transition from the womb. She lives in the woods of Whitefield with her husband Bert and their two born-at-home sons, Emery and Wyatt.”
